Isn't she gorgeous?! She is fur adoption with Heigl's Hounds of Hope here in Los Angeles.
Not too long ago her future wasn't as bright as it is today. She was hit by a car and dumped on the doorstep of a local vet. She had a fractured leg so the vet fixed her up and took her to the shelter in case someone was looking fur her. After a week no one had come fur Pretty and the shelter was getting full so she was redlisted and given only 5 days to live. Lucky fur her my MamaBear happened to be at the shelter that day. One of the Animal Care Technicians showed Pretty to MamaBear and told her the poor girl's sad story. MamaBear knew just who to call...
Founded by Katherine and Nancy Heigl in honor of Jason Heigl, Heigl's Hounds takes in larger, harder to place dogs, facing euthanization in Los Angeles shelters. Upon rescuing Pretty, HH realized that not only is she housetrained but she is good with kids and other dogs. Actually this stunning Dane/Retriever mix LOVES other dogs, big or small, and even though she is an adult (maybe 2-3 years old) she still plays like a puppy.
If you live in the Los Angeles area and looking fur an active and good looking companion, then Pretty is your girl. She is microchipped, current on vaccines, spayed and comes with a free training session upon adoption. (WOW! What a catch!) Heigl's Hounds requires an application and homecheck prior to adoption so if you're interested paw here or if you would like more infurmation about Pretty and how you can sniff her butt at a mobile adoption fair, check out her bio on the Heigl's Hounds website here.
